The Moody Blues - Days Of Future Passed

The second album from The Moody Blues, and the first to feature the band's original choice of bass player John Lodge and new boy Justin Hayward.

Although it was "tweaked" for 5.1 surround, the SACD was based on the original quadraphonic release. This conversion has been "untweaked" back to the original quadraphonic mix.

On 25 June 2013, a box set entitled Timeless Flight was released that included DVD-Video discs featuring the tweaked 5.1 mixes from the SACDs in DTS 24/48 & Dolby Digital. The original quadraphonic version has been preserved on this conversion.

Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells

The debut album from Mike Oldfield was also the debut release for the fledgling Virgin label.

The SACD release featured the quadraphonic mix prepared for the Boxed set with an added, unnecessary centre channel that I removed from my conversion. In an attempt to rekindle the affection I once had for this album, for the first and probably only time I also included the stereo mix of the album in the DVD-Audio conversion. The DVD-Video version contains the quadraphonic mix only.
